ACTIVITIES

NEM will be selling 3 soldering kits that can be assembled during RobotFest. Both kits are a great introduction to soldering, and are quick and easy to do.

Workshops are on a first come, first serve basis. Please pre-register for the NODE Electronics Workshop. The Moon Globe and Optical Thermin will be avalible for registration on the day of the event. All materials and tools, as well as volunteers to help solder, will be provided. Participants under 14 must have an adult with them. There will be a small fee to cover our expenses for this workshop.

NODE Electronics Workshop

Want to get started with microprocessor-driven blinking lights and sensing?

The NODE Electronics Workshop at Robot Fest might be the place for you! We have starter kits with Arduino-compatible MCUs, breadboards,LEDs, buzzers, buttons, knobs, and more room for expansion than you can shake a stick at! Please bring a laptop and $35 to cover materials costs.(People with their own gear to hack on or who just want to hang out are also certainly welcome!)There will be two workshop offered during the day.
